The Art of Illumination Workshop: Crafting with Gold Leaf for London Craft Week

For London Craft Week, take inspiration from the gold gilding that decorates the ceiling of Barts North Wing’s Great Hall, and join artist Sarah Davis to learn the technique of illumination, the art of applying gold to paper.

Gild and paint a unique illuminated design using 23.ct gold to take home and treasure. This is a completely beginner friendly workshop and Sarah will be showing you the way.

This is event is part of a day of activities for London Craft Week:
