Explore the powerful intersection of art and medicine, where observation, empathy, and creativity enhance clinical practice, deepens understanding of illness, and reintroduces humanity into modern healthcare environments.

This talk explores the meeting point between art and medicine: how artists depict anatomy and disease, how careful looking can sharpen clinical observation, and how illness may shape artistic identity and output. It considers art both as a way of seeing the body and as a means through which artists express themselves, process suffering, and transform experience into creative work.
